Golf Club elects board members

Members of the Albany Golf Club filled three open board positions Saturday, Oct. 14 during an election preceding its annual Club Championship at Albany Golf Course.

Incumbents Donnie Anderson and Matt Birkla werereelected,whileReggy Spencer was chosen to fill the spot held by Sam Balliew, who did not seek another term.

In the Club Championship on Oct. 15, Charles Holson won the Championship Flight by one stroke over Charles Barrett.

A total of 14 golfers competed in the 36-hole tournament.
