JASON BEARD

Jason Seth Beard, 51, of Albany completed his earthly journey Oct. 17, 2023 in Albany. He was born on April 5, 1972 in Abilene, Texas to the late Lloyd and Dealous Beard.

Jason was a lifelong resident of Albany. He graduated Albany High School in 1991 and attended college afterwards.

Jason had a passion for cooking, not just for himself but others in the community. He also enjoyed gardening and giving his harvest to neighbors. Jason was an avid fan of the Albany Lions and University of Oklahoma Sooners football teams. Every Friday night, he could be found sitting in his chair listening to the Albany game, and every Saturday he would be watching the Sooners on the television. Most will remember Jason for his huge heart and his jovial personality.

In passing, Jason was reunited with his parents Lloyd and Dealous Beard and his beloved dog, Otis. Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Michael Beard and his wife Lori of Albany; his nephew Wyatt Beard ofAlbany; niece Madailein Beard of Albany; his beloved dog Lucy; and his cousin Chris Beard and wife Susie of Albany and his family; his cousin Michelle Sattler; and special friends Stephen and Michelle Kayga, Russell Davis, Ryan Ford, Ty Fisher, and Doug Potter.

Amemorial to celebrate Jason’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Saturday, Oct. 28, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary. PD
