District Lions to meet here

Albany will host a meeting of Lions Club District 2E1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at FriendshipBaptistChurch.

“The district governor (Darla Flatt) called the meeting and wanted to know if we could host it,” Albany Lions Club member John Tate said. “We’re setting it up and doing the meal,butthedistrictbunch is conducting the actual meeting. It’s supposed to be an informative session for all the Lions Clubs that are partofthisdistrictthatgoes from Wichita Falls down into Eastland County.”
