Summer STEAM

The club’s Summer STEAM program will hold its second session at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8 (today) at The Feed Store. Shackelford County extension agent Kelsey Bell said about 25 children attended last week’s opening session.

“We have about 40 signed up, but I doubt all 40 will be there every week,” Bell said.

Other Activities

The club’s project of setting up seating for the Fort Griffin Fandangle was delayed a day because of wet grounds at Prairie Amphitheater and began Tuesday, June 6.

On Monday, June 12, members of the Sewing Club will help with setup for the Albany Study Club’s Quilt Show.

On Tuesday, June 13, seven club members will compete at the District 7 Horse Show in San Angelo.
