Super Bowl ends local Flag Football schedule

The Packers and Chiefs won their age division championships Monday night as the Albany NFL Flag Football League concluded its season this week with its Super Bowl week at Robert Nail Memorial Stadium.
The Packers won the Kindergarten-First Grade group, while the Chiefs won the Fourth-Sixth Grade division.
The Second-Third Grade division played Tuesday night, with Texas Tech winning the championship.
The league played its final regular season games Saturday at the Albany High School baseball field
Kindergarten-
First Grade
On Saturday, the Seahawks beat the Rams and the Packers defeated the Titans.
The Seahawks earned the No. 1 seed at 5-0-1 with the Rams second at 3-3-1. The Packers were 3-3 and the Titans 0-6.
On Monday, the Packers beat the Rams and the Seahawks topped the Titans in the semifinals. The Packers then defeated the Seahawks in the final.
Second-Third Grade
On Saturday, TCU beat Texas, while Texas Tech and Texas A&M tied.
Texas Tech finished 4-1-1, Texas A&M was 2-2-2
Texas was 2-3-1 and TCU was 2-4.
On Tuesday, A&M beat TCU and Tech defeated Texas in the semifinals, then Tech went on to win over A&M for the title.
Fourth-Sixth Grade
On Saturday, the Cowboys beat the Buccaneers with the Chiefs knocking off the Cardinals.
The Cardinals topped the division with a 4-2 records, followed by the Chiefs and Cowboys, both at 3-3. The Buccaneers finished 1-5.
On Monday, the Chiefs defeated the Cowboys and the Buccaneers downed the Cardinals in the semifinals. The Chiefs then beat the Buccaneers in the final.
