Due to the Good Friday holiday on April 2, the April distribution pickup dates for the commodity food program have been pushed back one week.
Pickup dates are scheduled for Thursday, April 8 and Friday, April 9.
Certified eligible families in Moran should pick up their monthly commodity food at the Moran City Hall between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 8.
Albany families who have been certified as eligible for the February food distribution program may pick up their food on Friday, April 9, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the rear door of the JP office.
Recipients who are unable to pick up their commodities in person can send a signed and dated note with someone to pick up the food for them.
The commodity supplemental food program (CSFP) is federally funded and works to improve the health of low-income and elderly people at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods.
