5th quarter slated Friday following Albany game

Albany’s Ministerial Alliance will host a Fifth Quarter fellowship for the second consecutive week on Friday night at The Feed Store.

First Christian Church and The Feed Store are on the calendar to sponsor the group this week.

Feed Store director Tisha Wilkins said last week had a great turnout with 115 kids attending.

The fellowship begins immediately after the varsity home football game against Dublin and concludes at 12:00 midnight.

The Feed Store is scheduled to be the location for the next four fifth quarter events.

All students in grades seven through 12 are invited and encouraged to attend.

The next home game after Dublin will be against Hamlin on Friday, Sept. 11, and the sponsors will be Albany Church of Christ, Maranatha Fellowship, and Jesus of Nazareth Catholic Church.

After the homecoming game against Meridian on Friday, Oct. 2, Friendship Baptist, Beltway, and First United Methodist will sponsor the event.

Ministerial Alliance will sponsor the event following the home game against Ranger on Friday, Oct. 16.

First Baptist Church will host after the last home game on Friday, Oct. 28 against Cross Plains.
