No luncheon, games Friday

The Chamber of Commerce will not hold a weekly luncheon on Friday, Nov. 29 because of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, according to Chamber manager Mary Beth Jones.

Also, the Shackelford County Library will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29, and senior games on Friday, Nov. 29 are cancelled due to the holiday.

Holiday Weekend

The Chamber is hosting a Christmas event featuring shopping, music, food, the annual lighted Christmas parade, Santa Claus, drawings for Albany Bucks, and a Memorial Christmas Tree lighting in the downtown area throughout the day on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The next Chamber luncheon will be held at the Icehouse at 12:00 noon on Dec. 6.
