Directors sworn in for 2-year terms

New and returning board members were sworn in during a noon meeting on May 28, rescheduled from May 20 because weather concerns had caused its postponement.

At the beginning of the hour-long session, new board member Mike Folsom was sworn in, along with Leslie Belcher and Jo Ann Estridge, who were unopposed for their two-year terms.

Other Business

•It was decided to lease the east end of the clinic building to physical therapist Lacy Viertel, who will provide out-patient services at that location. A contract will be signed after details are worked out.

•After a half hour closed session, the board authorized Jera Fairley to fill a part-time position at Sanders Pharmacy.

•In the reorganization of the board for the next year, John Ayers was reelected as president. Janna Ledbetter will serve as vice president and Myra Hise as secretary.

•Directors voted to replace the AC on one ambulance unit.
