NSES online registration available

Parents whose children attended Nancy Smith Elementary School this spring and will return to the same campus next year are asked to go online and register for the upcoming school year using links for 2019-2020 Returning Student Registration link that were recently emailed..

“We sent out the emails three weeks ago,” said administration assistant Stephanie Gleitz. “Parents of current Pre-K through fifth grade students who did not receive the email need to contact us. They need to complete the registration ASAP, so it will be in before the office closes at the end of summer school.”

According to Gleitz, for most parents the multi page online form should be fairly simple to complete this year.

“Parents only have to edit their child’s information if there are changes from last year,” Gleitz said. “Otherwise they just need to confirm that the information is correct, and register their child or children for next year.”

Students who have not attended NSES, as well as those who have transferred to another school since they last attended the local campus, are not eligible to enroll online. 

Head Start and incoming Pre-K students can not enroll using the online portal at this time.

The online registration should be completed in the near future to help administrators obtain an estimate of enrollment numbers for the fall.

The secondary campus will not use online registration this year. 

Current sixth grade students who will be in seventh grade in the fall of 2019 will need to registered in person at the junior high school during the secondary campus registration.
