More youth activities planned

Local students showed up to splash their way into a fun time Monday evening, June 25 at The Feed Store’s Water Wars, dousing each other with water guns, hoses, water balloons, and even full buckets and coolers.

On Saturday, June 30, high school and junior high students are invited back to the youth center for a “Fandangle After Party.”

“We will start right after Fandangle ends on Saturday, and just hang out until midnight,” said youth minister Ashlee Herron. “We will have snacks and drinks, and the opportunity to play basketball, ping-pong, foosball, and board games.”

The Feed Store has two more events scheduled over the next few days.

The Herrons have planned a 4th of July party to be held at The Feed Store from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2.

“Junior high and high school students are all invited,” said Levi Herron. “We will have hot dogs, and other food and drinks, and play some games.”

On Saturday, July 8, seventh graders through seniors will have a chance to enjoy a Feed Store movie night at the Aztec Theater.

“We’ll start the movie at 7:00 p.m.,” said Levi Herron. “We know we’ll have popcorn and water, but we haven’t decided yet what movie to play.”
