Youth golf clinic set Sunday

The Albany Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a free youth clinic Sunday, June 26, at Albany Golf Course.

The clinic, which will be conducted by Central Texas Junior Golf, is open to students in third through eighth grade. It is scheduled for 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Organizer Coralie Tidwell said the clinic has space for up to 40 students.

Instruction will be by PGA professionals.

Clubs will be provided for those who do not have a set.

Central Texas Junior Golf also conducts junior team tournaments using the same format as high school golf. Up to four tournaments are scheduled for the area this summer.
