Church doors are beginning to open a little wider with Sunday school, camps, and Vacation Bible School starting up in the next few weeks.

First Baptist Church

Sunday school will officially start back at First Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 1.

Worship service is at 10:45 a.m. each Sunday, as well as a live stream of the service on FBC Facebook page.

Camp JAM

Camp JAM will be July 16 to 19 for campers going into eighth through 12th grades.

First Baptist Church youth minister Campbell Terry said the Disciple Now style camp will be Thursday to Saturday.

Terry said spots are limited, and the cost of Camp JAM is $50.

Church Lock-Ins

First Baptist Church will host a lock-in for students that have completed fourth to sixth grade starting on Wednesday, July 24 to the morning of July 25, and students who have completed first to third grade will have a lock-in starting Friday, July 31 to the morning of Aug. 1.

Lock-ins for both age groups will be $50.

Contact Campbell Terry to register for Camp JAM or the church lock-ins at 432-254-1040.

Community VBS

Community Vacation Bible School 2020, themed Concrete and Cranes, will begin Sunday, July 26 and continue through Wednesday, July 29 at First Baptist Church Albany.

This is a correction of the dates of July 24-29 that were printed last week.
