Wish list created for local teachers

Members of the AJSH Academic Booster Club’s “Rise and Shine” committee are inviting the public to “adopt” a local teacher.

“The committee has created a teacher/staff Christmas wish list event,” said Rise and Shine Committee member Heather Brown. “This is a great opportunity to encourage the teachers/staff who love, care for, and educate our students each and every day.”

Due to COVID-19 regulations, the methods to get wish lists out to the public have been revised. 

A “SignUpGenius.com” account has been created for the event, and is just waiting on requests from teachers and staff. 

“Once all requests have been received, the link will be shared through the various AISD and Academic Booster Club accounts,” Brown said. 

More details about the drop-off methods and locations will be announced at a later date, and citizens are asked to share this project with others in the community who would like to participate.
