Veterans names can be added

Anyone interested in adding a veteran’s name to the newest veteran’s marker that will soon be added to those already installed on the Shackelford CountyCourthousesquare should contact Mary Kay O’Connor by Wednesday, May 15.

Since the monument has not yet been delivered and installed, the engraver will waive the $95 charge for coming to Albany to engrave names. Veterans must be Shackelford County residents, and proof of military service is required.
