By Lynsi Musselman

Members of Trinity Episcopal Church have resumed on-site and in- person worship services.

Sunday, June 14 was the first service since mid-March, according to church member Larry Bell.

Rev. Jim Smart served as preacher and celebrant for Holy Communion last weekend.

The next service will be Sunday, June 28 with the Rev. Doug Thomas serving as preacher and celebrant.

The congregation is following guidelines set by the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas, the Right Rev. Scott Mayer. This includes wearing masks and social distancing.

As in past summers,  lay leadership and most parishioners are out of town for the summer. Therefore, services will not be held at Trinity in July and August.
