Trick-or-treat, costume contest set downtown

Next Thursday will be a big day in downtown Albany, with local merchants set up to dole out candy and the annual Halloween Costume Contest starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Bank Park.

Downtown merchants are hosting the annual Main Street Trick or Treat onThursdayfrom4:00p.m. until 5:00 p.m., immediately followed by the costume judging sponsored by the PTO at the Bank Park.
