Albany Golf Club will host a Labor Day Golf Tournament on Sept. 5 and 6.

The tournament is a two-person scramble format with an entry fee of $160 per team.

The entry fee includes one mulligan per person each day and a meal on Saturday night.

There is a morning tee time on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and another later in the day at 1:30 p.m.

Teams will be flighted after Saturday’s rounds.

James Waters with the Albany Golf Club said there are tee time spots available for both morning and afternoon slots but no cart rentals available for Saturday morning and just a few carts left for the afternoon.

“The tournament helps raise funds to maintain the course,” Waters said.

He reported the most recent improvements have been the newly planted greens on holes two, four, and six.

For more information about the tournament or to register, contact Waters at 325-627-3598, or club president Randy Walker at 325-762-4177.
