Texas country artists shine at CareFest

The 7th annual CareFest took place this past Saturday, August 16, at the Happy Wife Happy Life Weddings and Events Venue.

CareFest co-coordinator Ragan Riley said the day exceeded expectations. “It was a great turnout,” Riley said. “We would like to thank all our sponsors for helping us make it a success. Our volunteers are who make the event possible, and we are thankful for them.”

Though final attendance and fundraising numbers are not yet available, Riley expressed confidence that this was CareFest’s strongest year yet. “I’m confident this was our most successful year to date,” she said. “Big Country C.A.R.E.S. made some great connections, and we are already in the process of planning next year’s event. Other events are coming soon, too.”

Riley also extended special thanks to Kelly, Sheryl, and Tanner Scott at Happy Wife Happy Life Weddings and Events Venue for hosting. “We couldn’t do this without their beautiful venue,” she said.

Organizers plan to release more details on attendance and funds raised in the coming weeks.
