Teacher to wear turkey costume

The fourth annual Albany FCCLA Turkey Teacher Contest was still undecided heading into its final days this week.

As of Monday, Nov. 18, Chris Beard with 45 feathers held a slim lead over Donnie Lucas, who had 41.

Voting concluded Wednesday. Students voted with $1 donations to select a secondary teacher or staff member to wear a turkey costume all day Friday, Nov. 22 prior to the Thanksgiving holiday…
