The Albany Volunteer Fire Department responded to a small structure fire on Conrad Street in the early morning hours on Sunday, May 30.
On arrival, volunteers found a trailer fully engulfed in flames.
According to AVFD assistant fire chief Eric Johnson, eight volunteer firefighters responded with two engines and two rescue trucks.
“A single hose line was deployed by three firefighters to suppress the flames,” said Johnson. “Other responders on scene assisted with performing overhaul activities.”
The owner of the structure was not home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported by any of the first responders.
The trailer and all contents were destroyed by the fire, and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
Multiple agencies were on scene to provide support including Shackelford County Fire Department, Shackelford County EMS, Shackelford County Sheriff’s Office, and the Albany Police Department.
