The Albany Study Club will again raffle a quilt as part of its annual Quilt Show during the Fort Griffin Fandangle.

Raffle tickets may be purchased from any Study Club member or at Shackelford County Library. Tickets are $5 for one or $20 for five.

“The raffle again benefits our scholarship fund for high school students,” Study Club member Tammy Glover said. “We’re giving out one $500 scholarship this year, which will be announced at graduation.”

The Study Club’s cookbook sales also help fund scholarships.

The Quilt Show will be held the two Fridays and Saturdays during Fandangle, June 17-18 and 24-25, at the Whitney Theatre.

The show is free to the public and will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

To submit a quilt or handmade piece for the show, exhibitors can leave their project in a plastic bag with a completed information card at Shackelford County Library.

For more information about the show or raffle, contact Glover at 325-668-5017.
