Students exhibit at major shows

Albany FFAmembers closedouttheirparticipation at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo last week and immediately entered competition at the San Angelo Stock Show.

At Fort Worth, seven Albany students showed barrows with four placing.

In Black OPB Class 1, Creed Spencer placed fourthandJ.J.Clarkwas 11th. In Cross Class 34, SlaytonParsonsfinished sixth. Crew Spencer was ninth in Yorkshire Class 24 Other participants wereCallanEdgar,Ryan Turner, and Jade Bean.

In the Fort Worth steer show, Kenzie Neve was 12th in European Cross Class 8.

Madailein Beard was third in the Cow-Calf Show.

Also exhibiting cattle were Hattie Braly and Jaxson Hoel.

At San Angelo, six students exhibited goats.

In the Stars Wether Doe Show, participants were Tara Cauble, Charlee Patterson, and Kamryn Graham.

In the Wether Goat Show, Cauble was joined by Bradee Stautzenberger, WillaEarly,andLylaEarly.

UpcomingatSanAngelo are 24 students with gilts, 10 with barrows, four with steers, three with heifers, and one lamb.

Also this week, Albany students began participating in the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Theentrylistincludes four gilts, two goats, threeheifers,12barrows, and four steers.
