The annual Father’s Day golf tournament, hosted by the Albany Golf Club, will take place June 15-16 after being questionable for awhile that it would happen at all.

Tee times on Saturday include morning spots at 8:30 a.m. and afternoon tee-offs at 1:30 p.m.

The tournament will have a three-person scramble format, and the tournament entry fee is $240 per team.

Scheduling the traditional spring tournament was previously in question after heavy rainfall made the course unfit to play on for a few weeks.

The entry fee for the tournament includes one mulligan per person on each day.

Those who wish to rent a golf cart or have questions about the tournament or entry details can call James Waters at 325-627-3598

The golf club’s weekly scrambles take place on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer, and golfers need to gather by 5:00 p.m. or soon thereafter for the 5:30 p.m. start time.

The Wednesday scrambles entry fees are $10 for club members and $15 for non-members.
