“We are going to try to get more advanced with this workshop than we were in April,” assistant site manager Eric Abercrombie said. “We’ll go into some more advanced techniques.”

Abercrombie said the night sessions will occur in prime Milky Way viewing season.

“We can pretty much photograph as soon as it gets dark enough,” he said. “The date is pretty close to the new moon, so we won’t have any moon interference.”

The program is for ages 12 and up. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $10 per day.
