Scholarship names due Friday

Organizations planning to award scholarships at the 2022 Albany High School graduation exercises on Friday, May 27 are asked to report their scholarship amounts and recipients by this Friday, April 29.

Ann Riley at the AHS office is organizing the scholarship announcement and distribution, handing out the seniors’ application letters to committee representatives last week.

“Scholarship selections need to be in my office by the end of the month,” said Riley. “Please get the names of the students chosen for the awards back to the high school office by Friday. If it would help, the organization’s representative can send the information to my email account.”

Although some local scholarships are awarded at other events, such as the academic and athletic banquets, most are announced during the AHS commencement.
