Prom planned next weekend

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of spring activities, contests, and end of year events, the annual prom is a chance for local high school students to dress their best and show off their dance moves.

“A Black Tie Affair” is the theme of this year’s Albany High School prom and will be held from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 at the Whitney Theatre. 

The event is sponsored by the junior class and is free to all juniors and seniors.

Attendees who are not members of the junior or senior classes will need to have tickets for admission to the prom.

Tickets are available at the AHS office and cost $10 if purchased in advance or $15 at the door.
