Practices to move outside April 1

Fandangle practices move outside next week, with the next scheduled rehearsal set for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 1, at the Bank Park.

The Membership Sampler is barely three weeks away, and starting next week, rehearsals will also take place on Thursdays, with a practice set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, at the Bank Park.

Veterans and those who have never been in the Fandangle before can still come and join the cast.

Riders and livestock will not join the production until the final few practices, but everyone else, including not only singers and dancers, but everyone who will be on stage, is encouraged to attend every rehearsal possible.

“As expected, we had a much larger turnout for rehearsal this week than the first practice,” said artistic director Lorna Ayers.

The weather is predicted to be pleasant all next week, but if inclement weather should change the location of any rehearsal, notification is sent out to everyone signed up for the Fandangle message group.

To sign up to receive the texts, contact Ayers.

This year the Sampler will be at Fort Griffin Flat on Saturday, April 20, and the four summer shows will be at the Prairie Theater on June 21-22, and 28-29.
