Power Line Route Avoids Shackelford

Shackelford County will be spared from the path of a massive 765-kV transmission line after state regulators approved a final route Friday.

The Public Utility Commission of Texas voted Aug. 28 to approve Oncor’s Dinosaur–Longshore transmission project and selected Route 559 for the 242.6-mile line.
