Pig sale total sets new record

The 38th annual First Impressions Invitational Pig Sale raised almost $150,000 Sunday, Sept. 8 to benefit the Shackelford Youth and Livestock Association.

“It exceeded expectations,” Associationmember Reggy Spencer said. “Mike Parsons said it was over last year’s total by quite a bit, so that would be a new record.”
