Photos slated for local teams

Albany High School volleyball players, cheerleaders, and football participants will have team and individual photos taken over the next couple of weeks.

The AHS volleyball teams, who start practice this coming Monday, are scheduled Thursday afternoon, Aug. 5 at 5:00 p.m. in the main gym.

Members of the Albany varsity and junior varsity football teams will be in full pads on Friday, Aug. 6 for photos to be taken at Robert Nail Stadium.

The Lions and their coaches will gather at 1:30 p.m. after the morning practice.

The photo time for all Albany cheerleaders, including junior high, JV, and varsity, had not been scheduled at press time this week but will be taken in the near future.

The team photos will be used for publicity, as well as in the football program.

Players can also order individual photo packages.

Except for the cheerleaders, all junior high teams will be taken after the school year begins.

In addition, photographs taken of various teams and individuals by The Albany News since the beginning of the local coach pitch, softball and baseball seasons are available for pickup.

Graduation photos of the 2021 Albany High School seniors are also in, but several members of the class have not yet placed their orders.
