Photos planned over next 2 weeks

Pictures for varsity and JV football players have been set for this week, with volleyball teams and cheerleaders scheduled next week.

Members of the Albany varsity and junior varsity football teams will be in full pads on Friday, Aug. 4 for team and individual photos to be taken at Robert Nail Stadium.

The Lions and their coaches will gather at 1:30 p.m. after the morning practice.

The group picture of the senior members of the football and cheer squads will be taken on Monday, Aug. 7 prior to the Ice Cream Supper, along with a separate group photo of all the senior athletes. Seniors should meet at the Picket House in the Bank Park at 5:45 p.m.

Members of the Albany High School band will re-group after the Ice Cream Supper for pictures in full uniform in the AHS gym.

Volleyball players will meet on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 9 in the main gym at 3:00 p.m.

Later that day, varsity and JV cheerleaders will meet at the stadium for group and individual pictures starting promptly at 7:30 p.m.  for JV and 8:00 p.m. for varsity

Junior high cheerleaders are tentatively scheduled to meet for their pictures at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13 at Robert Nail Stadium.

Cross country photos have not yet been scheduled, but coach Donnie Hart will contact runners soon about a date.

Students can purchase photo packages that include a team picture and individuals. Pictures will be made of all participants whether they want to purchase photos for themselves or not. Individual images are used to make buttons.

Pictures will be taken of junior high football and volleyball teams after the school year begins.

The photos will be used for publicity, as well as in the football program.
