All parents of Albany students should plan to attend a special PTO meeting on Monday, Nov. 7, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Nancy Smith Elementary School cafeteria.

According to Ragan Riley, who chaired the recent PTO Fall Fest, there are plans to elect new officers and reorganize the group.

Make-up games for the flag football league that same evening are supposed to be over in time for parents to attend the 6:30 meeting, Riley said.

“We encourage all teachers and parents to be in attendance,” she continued,  “and we welcome your feedback, comments, questions, and concerns regarding the restructuring of the organization and our vision moving forward.”

Riley emphasized that everyone’s input is needed.

“You all play an imperative part in our organization and with your help we feel that we can benefit both teachers and our students in a positive manner moving forward,” Riley said.

AISD administrators also plan to attend the meeting.
