Oliver picked for advanced program

Kalison Oliver, a sixth grader at Nancy Smith Elementary, has been selected to attend the Texas Ballet Theater Summer Intensive, a three-week advanced program for dancers who auditioned and then were chosen to participate.

Kalison was selected as one of five ballerinas from Abilene Ballet Theater where she has been taking ballet lessons for seven years.

She is the daughter of Clayton and Kay Leigh Oliver.
