OJAC develops new ways to give

In additional to traditional fundraisers and membership drives, the Old Jail Art Center now has ways for people to support the museum through online shopping and social media.

Facebook Campaign

Birthdays and holidays are a good time to create a campaign on Facebook and encourage followers to donate in honor of the special event. 

This option is also a way to easily share information about the Old Jail and increase visibility.

QR Code

Visitors to the OJAC Facebook page can find a QR code that can be scanned with a cell phone camera and be taken directly to the OJAC donation page.

The code can be copied and pasted into any printed correspondence with family and friends who can then make a donation in the sender’s honor in lieu of other gifts.

Amazon Smile

Amazon offers the “Smile” shopping program which allows 0.5% of eligible purchases to be donated to the non-profit organization of the shopper’s choice. 

OJAC supporters who have an Amazon account can choose the Old Jail  and then start shopping to support the museum.
