No paper to be printed July 20

Albany News readers and advertisers are reminded that no newspaper will be published, either in print or online, during the week of July 17.

“We will not have a July 20 issue,” said News editor Melinda Lucas. “Hopefully that won’t be an inconvenience or source of confusion for anyone.”

Mail and online subscribers will get their papers at the usual times this week, with the July 13 issue distributed Thursday morning.

The News office will be open for the normal hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, July 17-20 and will be closed on Friday as usual.

“We will have only one person working next week, so we hope that customers will understand that she will need to lock the door occasionally in order to go to the bank and post office, as well as to take some time for lunch.”
