No paper to be printed Dec. 28

Readers andadvertisers areremindedthatnonewspaper will be published the week after Christmas.

“Therewillnotbeanedition on Thursday, Dec. 28,” said Albany News editor Melinda Lucas. “We hope we’vegiveneveryoneample notice that we’re going to take that week off to spend time with our families.”

All customers are asked to make sure they pick up their laundry and other weekend needs by Thursday afternoon before 3:00 p.m., when the office will close. The News will be closed as usual on Friday, and the staff will also take offTuesday,Dec.26,theday after Christmas.

The News will be open on Wednesday through Thursday, Dec. 27-28, even though there will be no paper that week.

The next issue, to be printed the week of Jan. 1, will be distributed on Thursday morning, Jan. 4, as usual, but all news and adswillbedueby10:00a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2 because oftheshortenedworkweek.
