Mr., Miss AHS to be crowned Saturday night

The high school Winter Formal is set for Saturday at the Whitney Theatre from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m.

Sponsored by the Albany Student Council, the event is open only to high school students and guests who have been pre-approved.

The crowning of Mr. and Miss AHS will be held at 9:00 p.m., followed with presentation of the prince and princess for the freshmen, sophomore, and junior classes.

Tickets are available from the four class presidents in advance for $10, or can be purchased for $15 at the door.

Students are allowed to bring an out-of-town date who is still in high school. A letter of reference indicating the guest is a student in good standing is required from the guest’s principal.

Music for the event will be provided by disc jockey Martin Priteo, Jr.

Senior nominees for Miss AHS are Brooke Kayga, Gracie Price, Briley Tabor, and Ella Webb. Mr. AHS nominees are Cole Chapman, Coy Lefevre, London Fuentes, and Miles McCloy.

Nominees for class prince and princess for the juniors are Braylyn Abbate, Jaci Chapman, Robyn Trail, Cason Fairchild, Zane Waggoner, and Wyatt Windham.

Sophomores nominated Avery Everitt, Abigale Hale, Marie Hufschmidt, Landon Balliew, Branson Beal, and Will LeMay.

Freshman class nominees are Kaisley Bartee, Caroline Chapman, Madison Parrott, Cade Fairchild, Dawson Oden, and Tony Wheeler.
