Moran garage sale set this weekend

Moran’s city-wide garage sale is scheduled for Saturday.

Sale organizer Michelle Taggart said the event will begin at 7:00 a.m. with no set time to finish.

Maps will be available at the Moran Community Center.

“I’m still taking names for the sale,” Taggart said. “The deadline to sign up is noon Thursday (today).

To register, Taggart said, contact Teresa King at Moran City Hall.

“They can get ahold of her, and she’ll let me know,” Taggart said.

She added that more information regarding the garage sale will be posted on Facebook.

“After I get the map set with the locations on Friday, I will post on the Shackelford page with the map and the list of the sales,” she said. “I’m going to post it on all the media pages like the Shackelford County page and the Albany page.”

Taggart said there will be a wide variety of items available.

“We’ve got a little bit of everything,” she said. “Some people will have baked goods; some are cooking meals. ”
