Moran garage sale set Sept. 7

Moran’s annual city-wide garage sale will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, starting at 8:00 a.m., according to organizer Michelle Taggart.

There is no charge to participate, and maps showing all of the garage sale locations will be available.

Church Activities

The Moran First Baptist Church served lunch and led a Bible study for students from sixth graders up through high school ages this week.

“So far we’ve had 17 kids show up each day,” said member Jo Hise. “We’ve been really pleased with the turnout.”

The 12:00 noon meal and fellowship will continue both today and Friday, Aug. 9.

The church hosted a community pool party at the Albany pool yesterday evening.
