Children in Moran will have the opportunity to practice their egg hunting skills on Saturday, April 3 at the Chuck Reynolds Memorial Park.

The annual event will be hosted by the Moran Volunteer Fire Department and the Moran City Park and will begin at 11:00 a.m.

All children will need to gather at the entrance of the park across from the community center prior to the start of the hunt.

The park will be divided by ages prior to the hunt.

Hot dogs and sausage wraps will be available for sale at the event along with chips, water, and soda.

Raffle tickets also will be available for three different items including a $50 date night gift card to the Icehouse, a bluetooth speaker and Roku streaming system, and a Rubbermaid Tough shelving kit.

Tickets for the gift card and bluetooth/Roku are six tickets for $5 and tickets for the Rubbermaid kit are $5 per ticket.

Tickets are available by contacting Moran park manager Samantha George via the Moran City Park Facebook page, or they can be purchased the day of the event.

All proceeds from the event and the raffle will go to benefit the Moran VFD and the Moran City Park with the goal of purchasing an outdoor movie projector and screen for family movie nights in the park this summer.
