MISD takes holiday break

The Moran Independent School District hosted its annual Thanksgiving family luncheon at the school on Thursday, Nov. 15, before releasing students for the holidays on Friday, Nov. 16.

Thanksgiving Break

A teacher comp day and student holiday took place on Monday, Nov. 19, and the MISD campus then closed for the remainder of the week.

Classes at Moran resume at the usual times on Monday, Nov. 26.

Christmas Break

The next scheduled break at MISD will be for the Christmas holidays.

Two early release days on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 19 and Dec. 20, will be followed by a staff comp day/student holiday on Friday, Dec. 21.

Christmas break starts on Monday, Dec. 24 and continues through Friday, Jan. 4, with classes resuming at the usual times on Monday, Jan. 7, for the second semester.
