MISD students wrap up school year

Moran students wrap up the school year this week with an elementary field day Thursday followed by an awards ceremony.

Kindergarten and eighth grade graduations also will be held Thursday.

Eighth grade valedictorian is Ellis Hise and salutatorian is Aydan Moreno.

The last day of school and graduation will be on Friday, May 28. Graduation will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. 

Fundraiser

The MISD athletic department is raffling off an autographed spirit flag signed by all junior high and high school athletes.

Tickets cost $5 each or five tickets for $20, and can be purchased from coaches. 

Proceeds will go to purchase new uniforms.

The drawing will be held on May 28. 

School Year 2021-2022

Registration packets for the 2021-2022 school year will be available on June 7 at the school office. 

Any student entering kindergarten through 12th grade needs to complete a registration packet.
