MISD starts spring break with ‘Fling’

Moran ISD got a jump start on spring break Wednesday, March 6 with its annual Spring Fling at Bulldog Field.

“We had a really good turnout,” Moran principal Jo Hise said. “The games seemed to go well. The seniors raised quite a bit of money with their projects, and the rain held off just in time for us to finish up.”

Each grade level operated a game booth to raise money for their class fund.

“They can use that money at any point in time for field trips, or they can just hold onto it for their senior year,” Hise said.

Activities included a silent auction, cake walk, pie spin, bowling, beanbag ladder toss, ball toss, ball bounce and toss, grab bag, plinko, basketball toss, and ladder golf.

Family Game Night Moran volunteers will hostFamilyGameNightat 6:00p.m.Thursday,March 28 at Moran Event Center.
