Ministries to start fall programs

Albany churches and organizations have already begun fall youth groups, with children’s ministries about to start.

Albany Church of Christ Youth in Action meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at The Feed Store.

First Baptist Church’s sixth grade group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays at The Feed Store.

Friendship Baptist

Friendship Baptist will begin regular Wednesday activities on Sept. 7.

Children aged 4 years old through sixth grade will meet from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Junior high and high school students will have Bible study 6:15-8:00 p.m.

First Baptist

Jesus and Me (JAM) for kindergarten through sixth grade will begin Sept. 7 and, except for holidays, continue through April 26.

Recreation and food will begin at 5:45 p.m., followed by a rally, music, crafts, and Bible study.

Parents can pick up children at 7:20 p.m. at the “back porch.”

MMPC

Matthew Memorial Presbyterian Church will begin Mothers Day Out on Friday, Sept. 9.

The church is also hosting Wednesday night study groups for junior high and high school students.
