Meet the Teacher set Monday

Meet the Teacher sessions will be held at both Nancy Smith Elementary School and the junior/senior high campus on Monday, Aug. 15.

Students entering K-3 will be able to find out their teachers for the coming school year from 5:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., followed by students entering grades 4-6 at 5:30 p.m.

Students and parents are urged to meet with teachers in their classrooms at the secondary campus at 6:00 p.m., followed by an orientation meeting for all grade levels at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

“We are inviting all parents of junior high and high school students to attend this year,” principal Glen Hill said. “The orientation isn’t just for seventh grade and new students this year.”

Hill said that he will review student expectations, the revised school safety plan, policies and procedures, and the drop-off and pick-up locations for parents at the beginning and the end of each school day.

All secondary teachers will be on hand to meet with students and parents to answer any questions.
