Meet the Teacher planned Aug. 15 on both campuses

Meet the Teacher will be held at both Nancy Smith Elementary and the junior/senior high campus on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Students entering K-6 will be able to find out their teachers for the coming school year from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Students and parents are urged to meet with teachers at the secondary campus at 6:00 p.m. for an orientation meeting for all grade levels in the high school auditorium.

“We are inviting all parents to attend the meeting before going to meet individual teachers,” new secondary principal Ezra Chambers said. “There are things we will cover that will apply to everyone, then parents and students can meet with teachers in their rooms.”

All secondary teachers will be on hand to meet with students and parents to answer any questions.

Secondary students who are already registered need to pick up their class schedule on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. prior to attending the open house.

“They need to come get their schedules beforehand so they can walk through where their classes will be meeting with their parents during Meet the Teachers,” Chambers said.
