Local man wins truck

First Financial Bank announced last week that the winner of its Swipe to Win campaign, where customers had the chance to win up to $49,500 towards a vehicle of their choice, was Albany resident, Matt Howe.

Howe, along side his wife, was surprised with abig checkin the amount of $49,500 presented by the bank employees on Friday, Feb. 9 at First Financial Bank’s Albany branch, marking the culmination of the campaign. The presentation was met wit hexcitement and gratitude from the winner and the bank’s representatives.

Reflecting on his unexpected win, Matt expressed his gratitude, stating, “I couldn’t believe it when I found out I had won! It’s truly a blessing, and I’m incredibly grateful to First Financial Bank for this amazing opportunity.”

Steve Waller, Commercial Lender at First Financial Bank in Albany, commented on the campaign’s success and Howe’s win, saying, “We are thrilled to see our community engage with our Swipe to Win campaign, and we congratulate Matt on being the winner. First Financial Bank conducted its Swipe to Win campaign from July of 2023 to Dec. 31, 2023, offering customers over the age of 18 years old a chance to win a new car up to $49,500 by swiping their First Financial Bank VISA debit card. Each swipe earned an entry into the contest.
