Local cowboys make history

Four Shackel ford County youth helped usher in a new era earlier this month at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, competing in the show’s first junior ranch rodeo.

Thee vent was held Sunday, March 3 at Houston’s NRG Arena.

Gatlin Wills and Jack Nail competed for the Creighton Ranch team. Slayton Parsons and Riggyn Saunders were members of the Allen Cattle team.
