KTAB’s ‘On the Road’ to be here

KTAB News will be “On the Road” in Albany on Thursday, July 25 and everyone in the community is invited to join the Abilene TV news anchors at The Feed Store for the free event.

“It is important for us to connect with our audience,” said KTAB vice president and general manager Albert Gutierrez. “On the Road allows us to go out and meet our amazing viewers all across the Big Country. It also allows us to connect with our advertisers and offer them unique exposure to connect them to a greater audience.”

The KTAB crew will set up at 3:00 p.m. 

Local residents will be able to meet their favorite KTAB News personalities and watch live broadcasts of KTAB 4U at 4:00 p.m. KTAB News at 5:00 p.m., and KTAB News at 6:00 p.m.

Interactive games and food will be offered starting at 4:30 p.m. and a concert by Kirk House will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end around 8:30 or 9:00 p.m.

“Everyone is invited,” said Albany Chamber manager Mary Beth Jones. “We are hoping that everyone will show up, turn out, and display our Albany pride.”
